HP 8000 2K PRIMER

  HP-8000 2K Primer/Surfacer
HP-8000 Premium 2K Primer-Surfacer with exceptionally high build properties. Very soft sanding, wet or dry after short dry times. HP-8000 Primer provides minimal shrinkage and the maximum in color holdout properties available. An Economical Lacquer Type fast dry!

Air Pressures

Conventional
Siphon Feed: 35-45 psi at the gun
Gravity Feed: 30-40 psi at the gun

HVLP 8-10 psi at the gun

Application:

  1. Clean surface thoroughly using accepted body shop procedures.

  2. Sand per accepted body shop procedures for substrate being used and final clean with solvent wipe.

  3. Apply 2-3 medium coats of HP-8000 with 10-15 minutes flash between coats.

  4. Do not apply more primer after 1 hour from completion.
